As part of the BMBF-funded research program GRoW1, IEEM has investigated and empirically verified which factors are decisive for the success or failure of local water management with its water operations and facilities, and thus also decisive for the development goal of the United Nations (UN SDG 6 „Clean Water and Sanitation“).
